GerandoFalcões hosts benefit Dinner in London and strengthens global force for social transformation
On 22 April 2025, London once again played host to one of the most elegant and impactful philanthropic events of the year: the London Benefit Dinner, promoted by Gerando Falcões in partnership with BFF. Held at the sophisticated Nobu Hotel Portman Square, the evening brought together a select audience of entrepreneurs, opinion leaders, artists and supporters, all united around a common purpose: to end poverty in Brazil’s favelas.
Under the leadership of Edu Lyra, founder and CEO of Gerando Falcões, the organisation was born in the outskirts of São Paulo and is now globally recognised for its innovative, large-scale approach to fighting inequality. Its flagship initiative, Favela 3D (Dignified, Digital and Developed), offers systemic and structural solutions to uplift the most vulnerable communities in Brazil.
The evening was gracefully hosted by Tatiana Alonso, CEO of Gerando Falcões International, who has been instrumental in expanding the organisation’s global presence, particularly in the UK and United States.
A major highlight of the night was an exclusive pocket show by the Brazilian band Jota Quest, which brought the unmistakable energy and warmth of Brazil to the heart of London.
The charity auction, which drew enthusiastic participation from the audience, was masterfully conducted by Henri Zylberstajn, entrepreneur and CEO of Zuk, also a partner of BFF. With charisma, directness and sharp intuition, Henri energised the room and helped drive a powerful evening of giving.
All funds raised on the night will go directly towards expanding Gerando Falcões’ social impact programmes — from education and vocational training to infrastructure and digital inclusion in Brazil’s favelas.
More than a gala, the London Benefit Dinner reaffirmed that modern philanthropy can be strategic, connected and truly transformative. Amidst music, toasts and moving testimonies, one message was clear: the future of Brazil’s favelas is being reimagined through courage, innovation, and global collaboration.
