Philipp Plein Resort 2026: Glamour, Drama and Crystals by the Sea in Cannes

At the height of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, German designer Philipp Plein unveiled his Cruise 2026 collection, titled “Noir Summer Dream”, in a cinematic setting: the elegant Carlton Beach Club, on the shores of the French Riviera. The change of location — originally planned for the garden of the designer’s private residence — was prompted by a forecast of rain. The new venue, however, proved to be a perfect match for the spirit of the collection, which drew inspiration from sultry summer nights.

It was a celebration of nocturnal glamour and bold femininity. Comprising 16 looks, the collection featured cocktail dresses and evening gowns adorned with crystals and sculptural silhouettes. The Plein woman was born to shine — and that’s precisely what we saw in full crystal-embellished ensembles. Among the standout pieces were a black gown embroidered with red stones, which took ten days of meticulous handwork, and a python-effect mini dress decorated with a three-dimensional snake motif.

A collection shrouded in mystery, with elegant midnight tones illuminated by Cannes’ divine sunset, enhancing the charm and subtlety of the season.

LEGS FOR DAYS!

In Philipp Plein’s summer nights, legs take centre stage — revealed through dramatic asymmetric slits or paired with ultra-high boots and mini dresses.
