Salon Privé 2025: The Green Collection Set to Make History

Bentley Speed Six Continuation Series Car Zero

Few events in the world bring together luxury, tradition and automotive innovation as seamlessly as Salon Privé, which this year celebrates its 20th edition, the Emerald Anniversary, at the iconic Blenheim Palace from 27 to 31 August. As if the significance of this milestone were not enough, the event presents a unique curation that speaks directly to my heart: the Green Collection, a spectacular showcase of some of the rarest and most desirable green automobiles ever produced.

Those who know me are well aware of my lifelong passion for cars and of my deep and enduring love affair with Bentley Motors. I have been fortunate to experience unforgettable moments with the brand, and to see models such as the Bentley 3L Vanden Plas Le Mans, the sole survivor of the original 1927 trio and a Pebble Beach class winner, featured in this collection is, for me, nothing short of poetic. Green, my favourite colour, will be celebrated not only through Bentley’s heritage, but also with the striking Bentley Batur in Python Green and the Bentley Speed Six Continuation Series Car Zero, a faithful recreation of the legendary Le Mans winning icon.

Yet the fascination goes far beyond Bentley. The collection also includes automotive jewels such as the Jaguar C X75, a one off road going supercar crafted by CALLUM, the singular Ferrari SF90 Ispirazioni, believed to be the most highly specified SF90 ever built, finished in Verde Francesca with green carbon accents, the commanding Koenigsegg CCR in Jesko’s exclusive Racing Green, and timeless classics like the Lamborghini Miura P400S, restored exactly fifty years after its original production. Completing the list are legendary machines such as the Porsche Carrera GT in Olive Green and the Bugatti Veyron Centenaire in British Racing Green, a tribute to Sir Malcolm Campbell.

Being at Salon Privé is far more than attending a car show, it is an immersion into the culture and artistry that have shaped the automotive world for decades. It is also an opportunity to recognise the historic value of vintage cars, custodians of stories that transcend generations and preserve the very essence of motoring.

For those, like me, who find beauty in engineering and emotion in the roar of an engine, the Green Collection is an invitation to contemplation and celebration. I can hardly wait to walk through the grounds of Blenheim Palace and witness up close this rare and inspiring gathering, a true tribute to excellence on wheels, in the most noble colour of all.
