Salon Privé 2026 returns to Blenheim Palace with a celebration of motoring, style and British elegance
Salon Privé opened yesterday at Blenheim Palace, bringing together exceptional automobiles, world premieres, fine hospitality and the polished garden-party atmosphere that has become its signature.
Now in its 21st edition, Salon Privé 2026 runs from 2–6 September, once again transforming the grounds of Blenheim Palace into one of the most refined fixtures of the British social and automotive calendar.
Lamborghini
This year’s opening brought a series of notable UK debuts. Lamborghini presented the Revuelto SV, fresh from its international unveiling at The Quail, while BRABUS introduced both the carbon-fibre BODO, limited to 77 examples worldwide, and the 800 Cabrio, its dramatic reinterpretation of the Mercedes-AMG G 63.

Also making their mark were the new Polestar 4 SUV and the Giamaro Krafla, while British specialist Electrogenic unveiled a particularly elegant meeting of heritage and innovation: the electrification of a 1973 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI commissioned for official use by the City of London.
At the heart of the event remains the prestigious Salon Privé Concours, with around 70 collector cars competing across 12 classes for the coveted Best of Show title.

Yet Salon Privé has never been solely about cars. Its appeal lies equally in the atmosphere surrounding them: beautiful gardens, jewellery, fashion, fine food and champagne, all framed by one of England’s most spectacular historic estates.
Champagne Pommery, a long-standing partner of Salon Privé and a Gold Sponsor for 2026, is once again woven into the hospitality experience. Over the years, the Maison has become part of the event’s distinctive social character, accompanying everything from elegant lunches to some of its most anticipated occasions.
Style is very much part of the occasion.
For the Concours days, guests are encouraged to embrace Formal Garden Party Attire, elegant summer dresses, refined tailoring and jumpsuits for women; lightweight suits, blazers and smart trousers for men.
Friday, 4 September, brings Ladies’ Day by Boodles, when fashion becomes as much a part of the spectacle as the cars themselves. Hats and fascinators are strongly encouraged, with the traditional Boodles Best Hat competition adding a playful note to the day.
The weekend becomes slightly more relaxed, with Garden Party Attire for Supercar Saturday and Sunday, although the overall mood remains polished.
One practical detail is worth remembering: much of Salon Privé takes place across lawns and gravel paths. Elegant flats, wedges or block heels are often a wiser choice than stilettos.
What to see this weekend
Saturday brings Supercar Saturday and Club Trophy Day, followed by Supercar Sunday and Lifestyle Club Day, closing the week with an impressive gathering of contemporary performance cars, private clubs and collectors.
With Blenheim Palace as its backdrop, Salon Privé remains a rare event where automotive excellence, fashion and luxury hospitality coexist effortlessly and where the experience is as much about being there as it is about what is on display.
