The Launch of RWC Experiences for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025
I had the chance to be there, on 2nd April, when RWC Experiences launched their exciting hospitality packages for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 — which will take place between 22nd August and 27th September, across 8 cities: Twickenham Stadium (London), Brighton & Hove Albium Stadium (Brighton), Ashton Gate Stadium (Bristol), Franklin's Gardens (Northampton), York Community Stadium (York), Stadium of Light (Sunderland), Sandy Park (Exeter), Salford Community Stadium (Salford), and, honestly, what a moment it was.
The energy in the room was electric. You could feel the excitement buzzing as we all came together to celebrate something that’s not only about rugby, but about changing the way fans experience the sport. This isn’t just any tournament. It’s the biggest Women’s Rugby World Cup yet, and from what I saw and felt, it’s going to be unforgettable.
What made the day even more special was the access we had. We could actually go down to the pitch and take photos outside — that feeling of being on the field where the action will unfold was unreal. We also got a behind-the-scenes look at the locker rooms, which added to the sense of being part of something historic.
We were treated to a live panel Q&A session with some amazing rugby legends — Rachel Burford, George Gregan, and Emma Wassell. Hearing their stories and seeing their passion up close was such an inspiring moment. It really brought home how big this event is going to be.
Even the food told a story. One of the desserts had the iconic rose symbol – such a beautiful tribute to women’s rugby. It was those thoughtful touches that made the experience feel so meaningful.
People are genuinely excited about the World Cup. You can see it in their eyes, hear it in their voices. We even had the chance to get closer to the trophy – and let me tell you, that was a moment I’ll never forget. Just standing near it gave me chills.
One moment that truly stole the day? The karaoke. You could feel the energy shift as people found their voices - it was delightfully infectious. And it’s just a taste of what’s to come at the World Cup.
Speaking of experiences, the World Cup is bringing a whole new energy to the stadium - this isn’t just about the game, it’s about how you live it. From luxury to pure fun, the lineup of experiences is seriously impressive.
There’s the Private Suites, for those who want to soak in every play with a glass of champagne in hand and gourmet bites at the ready. Then there’s the Tunnel Club, offering an exclusive front-row view as players walk out - an up-close thrill paired with fine dining.
For the ultimate party vibes, Pitch Perfect, the karaoke suite, is a standout. It’s lively, unexpected, and such a fun way to warm up your voice - and your spirit - before the match. Right next door in energy is Try Tunes, which sold out within just 90 minutes of going on sale, a festival-style pre-game zone where disco meets street food, cocktails, and dancing.
You’ve also got the Scrum Lounge, Union, Hemisphere, and Surf v Turf - each space offering a different take on how to celebrate, connect, and experience rugby like never before. Whether you’re after high-end hospitality or a vibrant social scene, there’s a perfect place for every kind of fan.
This isn’t just match day. It’s a full-on experience. We’ve just had a sneak peek at everything that’s coming – and I couldn’t be more excited.
