Paul Costelloe SS26 ‘Boulevard of Dreams’
As always, one of the most anticipated shows of London Fashion Week was Paul Costelloe’s. The Irish designer is truly beloved, and his presence on the schedule feels like a gift to the fashion world. There is something particularly special about seeing Paul supported by his children, who work alongside him to bring each collection to life – a touch that makes every presentation feel even more human and heartfelt.
The ‘Boulevard of Dreams’ collection was a vibrant ode to femininity, freedom, and the effortless glamour of 1967, inspired by Hollywood icon Sharon Tate and the sun-drenched spirit of late-Sixties California. Models seemed to float down the runway to the sound of timeless classics such as Love Is Strange, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, and the unforgettable Pretty Woman, which brought the show to a joyous close.
The pieces featured playful swing dresses in corals and sherbet oranges, sculptural trapeze coats with exaggerated collars, precision-cut tailoring and cut-out gowns, all executed in crisp linens, light tweeds and luminous silks. The colour palette was striking – sherbet pinks, bold oranges and sky blues captured the essence of a youthful, carefree summer.

The coral print stood out as one of the highlights of the collection – a perfect burst of colour that encapsulated Costelloe’s joyful and romantic aesthetic. Structured bags, perfectly matched to the looks, added polish, while oversized translucent earrings and sculptural jewellery by Ivy J Studio Jewellery brought a three-dimensional edge.
Beauty was a true celebration of 60s glamour: hair was styled by Cos Sakkas for TONI&GUY using label.m Professional Haircare for volume and texture, makeup was created by Vicky Steckel for Laura Mercier, giving the models a fresh, luminous glow, and nails were perfected by Sophia Stylianou using Mii for a polished finishing touch.
Once again, Paul Costelloe delivered a show that blended romance, sharp tailoring and a zest for life, reaffirming his place as one of the most cherished names in international fashion.
