Suki Wang unveils the Tides of Silk Collection in London

Last Friday, the 1864 rooftop in the heart of London hosted the presentation of the Tides of Silk Collection, the latest creation by designer and multidisciplinary artist Suki Wang. Founder of the SUKI WANG brand, Suki has built a distinctive language that combines technical rigour, material research and an aesthetic vision that treats culture and design as a complete experience.

Avesso Magazine has previously had the pleasure of meeting the designer in person, whose presence is as striking as her work. Last year, we also attended the SUKI WANG event, when I wore the brand, just as I did this year, choosing a complete outfit from the collection showcased. With a global artistic vision and mastery of diverse creative languages, Suki transforms personal inspirations into rich, detailed visual narratives. Her career reflects a consistent dedication to elevating fashion into a space where each piece is both functional and deeply symbolic.

The Tides of Silk Collection reflects this approach. Inspired by Eastern koi fish and the creatures of the seven seas, the collection originates from watercolours painted by Suki herself, translated into fluid prints unfolding in a vibrant and luminous palette. Silk, the central fabric of the collection, is explored in its highest sophistication, a millennia old symbol of prestige, valued for its softness, drape and durability.

The event at 1864 was not merely a presentation but an immersion into the brand’s world. Between soft lines and precise cuts, each piece reaffirmed Suki’s aim: to create fashion that transcends trends and establishes a dialogue between technique, concept and beauty.

With the Tides of Silk Collection, Suki Wang further consolidates her position as one of the most relevant creative voices in the luxury segment, reaffirming fashion as a form of art and cultural expression.
