Alice + Olivia opens its first boutique in Milan and reinforces its global expansion

Milan 2026 marks a new chapter in the international journey of Alice + Olivia. Founded by Stacey Bendet, the brand officially opened its first boutique in the city in October 2025, at Via Santo Spirito 15, establishing its presence in the heart of Milan’s luxury district and strengthening its global expansion strategy.

Set across two floors and framed by three elegant windows, the boutique delivers an immersive retail experience that translates the brand’s identity with clarity and confidence. The space balances openness with intimacy, blending the world of fashion retail with the refined atmosphere of a private salon. I was particularly struck by how the boutique invites visitors to linger, explore and connect with the brand on a more personal level, positioning itself as both a cultural and social destination within Milan’s fashion landscape.

The interior unfolds as a sophisticated environment where fashion, design and architecture remain in constant dialogue. Soft blush and powder pink walls create a warm yet contemporary backdrop, while polished terrazzo floors and exposed wooden ceiling beams subtly reference Milanese architectural heritage. The result is a space that harmoniously merges New York born creativity with Italian elegance.

Launched in 2002, Alice + Olivia was born from Stacey Bendet’s personal quest to design the perfect pair of trousers. What began as a focused design solution quickly evolved into a brand with a distinctive voice, celebrated for its feminine silhouettes, bold use of colour and print, and its effortless fusion of whimsical charm with modern sophistication. Over time, the label has grown into a complete lifestyle offering, encompassing ready to wear, evening gowns and accessories, all rooted in the celebration of female individuality.

With stand alone boutiques in key cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Mykonos, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai, and distribution in over 800 select department and specialty stores worldwide, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nichols and Harrods, the arrival in Milan represents more than geographical expansion. It signals a strategic positioning at the very epicentre of European fashion.

Beyond its commercial growth, Alice + Olivia continues to embrace sustainability as a shared responsibility. The brand actively supports artists, empowers women and strengthens communities, maintaining transparency and accountability while striving to create a meaningful impact season after season.

With this opening in Milan, Alice + Olivia brings its unmistakable New York energy and contemporary glamour into dialogue with one of the most influential fashion capitals in the world, and I am delighted to witness this new chapter unfold.
